Let's Hop to it! If there's one thing that Pokémon Sword and Shield did excellently, it was the atmosphere of the gym battles. Battling in front of a stadium packed with excited fans was something we saw in the anime series and I always dreamed of being able to do the same in the video games. The music in gen 8 was incredibly good at hyping up a good fight, and one of my favourite examples of this was your final showdown with Hop at the end of the game. Everything Hop has dreamed of and has been working for has come down to this last stand and the awesome remix of his theme does that feeling JUSTICE, while also not forgetting to have some fun. Hats off to Minako Adachi, Go Ichinose and the rest of the music team for this game! I hope I was able to capture the same energy.
