Expressed identities equate one noun with another (e.g., “my grandmother is the church of our family history”). When you first begin work on a song, it is important to think about duration, number of bars per section, repetition, and the possible modification of tempo and key. As you go from the preproduction process to the production process you’ll want to make sure your song has enough contrast in the melody, harmony, and rhythm. Uslusoy further explains how to use multiple features inside Pro Tools to program drum sets and bass parts and use MIDI pads to ensure a smooth production process. This course also gives you an overview on how to execute vocal comping, manually editing pads, quantizing notes, using parametric EQ band to adjust frequencies, and applying different reverb plug-ins to add special effects to your tracks.
