Continuing the current Film Noir theme I was able to shoot another TV background test a couple of days ago, but this time I was able to secure a model/singer/actress who lived closeby and she was happy to test out shooting against a TV background, so here we have the amazing Natalie @NCGModel singing Fever! :D
I'm really happy with how this shoot turned out, I didn't really have a plan put together as I just wanted to do a couple of tests using transparent cocktail glasses and the reflections off a microphone similar to the previous videos, and I was just happy not to be in front of the camera so I could focus on angles and shots! But I love how this slowly morphed into a mini music video with lots of really nice looking shots, and in my opinion really shows off the strengths of using a TV background as we only shot for a couple of hours, and it turned out great! :)
Reflections are still a problem that I'm not sure I'll be able to fix using this television, an OLED TV would probably remove this issue but they cost about £25k... however I believe the strengths outweigh the reflections issue as hair detail, subtle glows, interactive light, etc, looks incredible and I definitely want to shoot more videos against this screen! :)
