Jane Russell (June 21, 1921 – February 28, 2011) appeared in many different movie genres in her career, but she made a memorable foray in to film noir territory as the beautiful love interest in three film noirs, two of which paired her with Robert Mitchum, who became a life-long friend. Jane was also an accomplished singer, and one of the songs featured is "Love On The Rocks" performed by her as well as a segment of the "L.A. Noire" soundtrack by Andrew Hale.
