Lots of people don’t know that film has gelatin- that’s all film, everything from disposable cameras, 35mm film, and instant cameras.

The gelatin is used to hold the light sensitive silver crystals. This creates an emulsion that is applied to plastic, that is then loaded into a camera.

Unfortunately no films exist on the market today that don’t contain gelatin. Photo prints use the same gelatin emulsion, and therefore photo prints are also unfortunately not vegan!
