Filler or Seffiller? What is the difference? Which one is better? When should you use one over the other? These are all questions you often ask me, and now we’re going to analyze them. First of all, when we talk about Seffiller, we refer to autologous regenerative therapy, so it’s a medical treatment; whereas, when we talk about filler, we are referring to a cosmetic treatment.
Filler simply fills the tissues, achieving an aesthetic facial enhancement by filling the target areas, and then allowing the tissue to reabsorb and return exactly as it was before.
In contrast, with autologous regenerative therapy using Seffiller, we utilize the patient’s own cells, harnessing mesenchymal stem cells, growth factors, and exosomes—not to fill the tissues, but to regenerate and heal them. That’s why Seffiller is a medical procedure, while filler is a cosmetic procedure that merely improves appearance.
Of course, the two treatments can be combined without any problems, but if our goal is to heal the tissues, we must opt for the Seffiller technique, which, through your own tissue, achieves a natural improvement and rejuvenation, and most importantly, safety, as it uses only your own cells.
