This church building has strange boarded up and bricked up windows around the lower level that are a dichotomy to the perfect stonework construction. Why are these windows and others filled with wood and brick with the brick ones disappearing below the ground? What would a mudflood type event that was remedied/covererd up, look like now? This church is at downtown Emporia Kansas and an interesting building to observe through this lens and there are basically no construction photos of this or any other historic buildings in the downtown to be found.
