I saw a journal like this on TikTok and had to make one for myself. It was trial and error, but I think I have it figured out. It's made completely out of file folders. Here is the cut list:
OUTSIDE BASE:
1 - 9" x 7" (score at 1/2" on Right)
1 -9" x 6.5" (score 1/2" on Left)
Glue 1/2" parts together, one on top of the other.
INSIDE BASE:
1 - 9" x 11.5" (score at 5.5", 5.75"
Glue to outside base after sewing in signature.
FRONT FLAP PIECE
1 - 7" x 9.5" (score at 4.75")
1 - 7" X 9" (score 1/2" on Left, 4.75")
Cut away 1/2" on top and bottom of left section
Glue to Outside Base after all pieces are covered.
BACK FLAP
1 - 9" x 11" (score 5.25", 10'25"
Glue 1/2' scored part to inside back of Outside base
