I’m painting the Nixie figure — the pilot — and honestly, I don’t paint figures often enough to stay razor-sharp. When you don’t have much time on the trigger, the skill slips a bit between efforts. My philosophy? If the figure looks human enough from a normal viewing distance and sits convincingly inside the suit, that’s a win. Just like flying: any landing you can walk away from counts as a successful landing.
