Hello and welcome to the end of Round 2 of the Fighting 50 competition, based off of Produce 101 with a splash of SIXTEEN.
Finally, results for Round 2 are here!! Are you excited?! I know I am! The participants all worked incredibly hard in Round 2. So many girls had to step up their game and work extra hard in this round. Like with most competitions, it only gets harder with each round.
In this round, participants gained points a few ways. Each judge (there's 5 of us! :)) had 100 points split up into different categories, including pitch and pronunciation. On top of that, there were two groups doing the same song. One of those teams could win bonus points from the judges for our favorite overall. Individual members could also win a bonus from the judge, as well as via votes. The top three performers from both the judges and the public votes received bonuses.
I am sad to say that we did have eliminations this round. Only the top 25 passed into Round 3. Round 4 will... round off with a final 20.
You all did magnificently and you will see soon how close the points were. Myself and the judges couldn't be prouder of how so many of you have grown already in one round.
