This is an unboxing and first impressions walkthrough of the Fifth Spirit Tarot by Charlie Claire Burgess. This was a recent Kickstarter deck that is available now. I ordered it on a Monday morning and got it on Wednesday afternoon! This deck is described as “A queer inclusive deck for a world beyond binaries .”
**Of note, it was pointed out to me that I call the creator “she” many times even though the creator identifies as “they and them”. I apologize for this, but I don’t have people in my immediate orbit who identify as non binary, so this obviously tripped me up. I’m trying to learn, henceforth the purchase of this deck. Maybe I should not have reviewed the deck, because of my lack of experience and the fact that my Gen X’er and cisgender experience is so glaringly evident, but I found the deck beautiful and wanted to support the artist. Again, I apologize to viewers and especially to the creator. If this video angers or offends because of my mistakes, please let me know and I will re-do it. It is up for now because I think it’s a learning experience for me, but also to those who may think we are all at the same point of awareness when we are not due to life experience. Even though I’m so angry that I made the mistake...life offers me the chance to do better next time. We are all ever evolving until our last breath.**
