The FIFINE AmpliGame D6 has changed a LOT since I first reviewed it. At around $55, can this budget stream controller now replace an Elgato Stream Deck for most streamers and creators?
In this video, I revisit the FIFINE D6 and test the updated Control Deck software, OBS Studio integration, Discord controls, Streamlabs support, Spotify, plugins, multiple pages, and more. When I originally compared the D6 against a Stream Deck, the hardware was promising but the software ecosystem was still pretty limited. That's not the case anymore.
For basic streaming controls like changing OBS scenes, muting Discord, controlling music, launching apps, and creating multiple control pages, the D6 now covers a surprising amount of what most creators actually need.
The bigger question is whether you should spend around $50–$55 on something like the FIFINE D6 and use the rest of your budget on a microphone, webcam, lighting, or other upgrades — or spend considerably more on an Elgato Stream Deck.
