A Christian scholar, T.C. Schmidt received his PhD from Yale University and is Associate Professor at Fairfield University and a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University. His publications concern topics such as the historical Jesus, the formation of the New Testament, the history of Christianity in Eastern contexts, and the origin of Christmas.
