A tribute to good childhood memories. The remake of one of my older tracks, and one of my first compositions. Field of Memories :') Happy holidays!

The 5th song in the Skyworld universe series.
I spent way too long on this. This is the 6th version of this song,
being really picky with the mastering and instruments for this one, every synth was constructed from ground up. But I am happy with how it turned out in the end.
The prominent arpeggio melody of this track is the main theme for my mock-up project Skyworld
And I think its time to make this project less of a mystery:
Skyworld is a mock-up series of tracks and artwork representing a universe from a non-existent retro video-game. The environment mostly consists of floating islands surrounding a water planet. And the tracks are tied to certain areas, places and events in the game. It is purposely vague, as I want listeners / viewers to also be able to envision their own version of this place to some extent.

Forgive this deviation from the hyperactive. This is one of my many recent creations, but first to be considered finished or long enough, yet. Ive been diving into Lo-fi hip-hop and ambient lately. Always liked the music. always had an affinity for beats, and play with samples a lot. So it feels natural, and its super fun to make. You might argue it is missing some high-end, but I like it that way.

This track was built on the bones of an unfinished old tune, and I ended up using 1% of the original.
Why? I dont know, but it sure made things more complicated than they had to be. Anyways, the result is a typical “Waterflame” bassline with some dusty drums and vocal tricks from my newer styles.
I spent a long time on the video this time around too! This is my most ambitious video yet, I think.
