To my great delight, also some SECAM-colour "fire" came thoroug! For best viewing here in Youtube, force the video quality to HD. Note that you can also add subtitling for the audio!Receiving equipment/antennas are on a remote location because I live in a city apartment where no proper radio or TV hobbyist antennas are possible. Radio 700 from Kall Krekel, Germany with only 0,06 kW of EIRP received in Finland (1481 km ES-skip) Koe Kone 2024-06-02 | Radio 700 (87,45 MHz) received here in Finland during ES-skip of 1481 km and only 60 Watts of tx-power (EIRP, according to FM-list-site). The official CCIR FM-band from 87,5 MHz and up was totally saturated (see beginning of this video) during this ES so this station transmitting below the usual frequency range was the reason why it could be heard. DAB-DX 2024: Receiving a DAB service from multiple transmitters over a distance of 1000 km! Koe Kone 2024-01-29 | A rare winter-time tropospheric ducting over the Baltic Ocean! Weak DAB-signals on channel 10B were received here in South-West Finland from multiple transmitters carrying the same DAB-service (E0-1148/ rbb BRB-BLB K10B) in Germany, over a maximum distance of 1 095,2 km (EDIT: 1 120,3 km) ! These transmitters could be identified and shown on the map in real-time using DAB TII (Transmitter Identification Information) and suitable software (here QIRX). A long distance tropospheric propaganation varies slightly while present and thus carries signals from different locations resulting in a fascinating flashdance of DAB-network in action! DAB DX 2023: DAB radio DX-reception of 268 km during tropo from Estonia Kapu/Koeru DAB 7A to Finland Koe Kone 2023-01-23 | Tropospheric DAB-radio propagation reveived on SW-coast of Finland in the late afternoon 23rd of January 2023. Tropo moved from west to south so that now Estonian low power DAB+ test transmitters (0,8 kW?) on channels 7A Koeru ja 10A Tallin could be receiver here in SW Finland. The distances wwere 268 and 166 km. My antenna today for this SE-direction was 13 element yagi on city apartment roof in Turku at 48 meters above sea level and nf 0,6 dB LNA. DAB DX 2023: DAB radio DX-reception of 938 km during tropo from Norway DAB 11A Stavanger to Finland Koe Kone 2023-01-23 | Tropospheric DAB-radio propagation reveived on SW-coast of Finland on 23rd of January 2023. It was DAB+ 11A channel from Stavanger, Norway. This tropo tunnel was stable for many hours and it was 1st time DAB-reception from Norway for me. The distance was 938 km. Reception distance 382 km. 2021-07-12 @23-10-00 - DVB-T2 E5 Norrköping-Kolmården (scrambled mux) 88 dBμV, CN 25,4dB.At that time (July 2021) this mux was scrambled, so only the spectrum, reception quality and service information appear on the screen. Digital TV DX 2021 - DX-reception of Estonian DVB-T television during tropo conditions from Finland Koe Kone 2022-12-28 | Recorded on September 27th, 2021 morning, this video shows Tallin DVB-T channel E28 mux locked and FTA services opened over a distance of 181 km during moderate tropo conditions. Reception equipment was a temporary test installation on 7th floor apartment balcony using a Triax Unix 100 UHF-wideband Yagi antenna equipped with a low noise amplifier (LNA n.f. 0,6 dB) in Turku, SW-Finland.
DAB DX - Test transmission on DAB ch7A from Estonia Kapu, Koeru, received in SW-Finland 268 km Tropo Koe Kone 2022-12-26 | 2022-12-26, This test transmission (0,95 kW) was from Koeru on DAB-channel 7A. Digital TV DX 2022 - Long distance DVB-T reception of 705 km during tropo conditions, Poland-Finland Koe Kone 2022-08-03 | Recorded on August 3rd, 2022 early morning hours, this video shows Gdansk DVB-T channel E6 mux found, locked and FTA services opened over a distance of 705 km during exellent tropo conditions. Reception antenna was a vertically polarized 13 el VHF-III band wideband Yagi equipped with a low noise amplifier (LNA n.f. 0,6 dB) at a height of 48 meters over sea level in Turku, SW-Finland. End part of this video briefly shows simultaneous reception of RMF FM Gdansk radio station broadcasting on 98,4 MHz from the same tv-tower. Many distant FM-stations across the Baltic Sea were logged here on that same day... Note how a FM-signal received during similar conditions just few days earlier fluctuates while finding its way throug forming temperature inversions over the sea.
