In this video I explain how Haste works and how it is capped in different categories. You have Gear Haste, Magic Haste and Job Ability Haste which each have their own maximum value. All of these Haste values contribute to your overall Haste value, which allows you to attack faster.
Players should try to have capped Haste whenever possible because it affects their damage from auto attacks over time, their TP gain, and their spell recast timers.
