This is a playthrough of the Randomiser for the PC version of Final Fantasy VII. This Mod was created by Sega Chief. In this particular Randomizer Mod, I randomized:
-field models (This is the main difference between this "Super-Randomiser" and my previous "Randomiser" playthrough. By randomising field models, all kinds of super wacky stuff is bound to happen, including but not limited to: the main character being Mr. Dolphin, Jenova finding new joy in life as the jolly shop keeper as well as a chocobo carriage being a dangerous boss)

-enemy models
-character starting stats and stat progression
-character starting equipment
-item and materia locations (drops, steals, morphs as well as the contents of treasure chests and random items lying on the screen)

$FF7 True Necrosis Mod Playthrough Part #03 Watch live at http://www.twitch.tv/xerokynos Download the True Necrosis Mod: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=17008.0 This is a playthrough of the only very recently released True Necrosis Mod (v0.2) for the PC version of Final Fantasy VII. Like the NewThreat Mod that I have played through on several occasions before, the True Necrosis Mod was created by SegaChief. The premise of the True Necrosis Mod is that you cannot heal throughout the entire game. Items, Magic, Limit Breaks, Inns, or whatever else you have in mind, it will not restore any character’s HP or MP or revive the dead. To offset the characters’ comparatively low starting HP and MP though, each character will join you with 9,999HP and 999MP (minus some HP penalties due to equipped Materia (e.g. Cloud starts with 9,600 HP)). So, in essence, this mod is challenging you to beat the game with only 10K HP and 1K MP on each character. Additionally, all sources have been made unusable, making it impossible to max stats. Also, due to how Limit Breaks work, since you need to take damage equivalent to a certain fraction of your maximum HP to fill your Limit Break bar, it is basically impossible to use Limit Breaks more than once or twice per character throughout the game and entirely impossible to learn Level 4 or 1-2, 2-2 or 3-2 Limit Breaks. In this playthrough, I will find out if it is even possible to finish the game under the effects of the mod as it came out just a few days ago, no one else seems to have tried it yet and SegaChief does not believe in testing his own creations. Personally, I am quite confident that beating the game will be possible in the True Necrosis Mod. What I am unsure about, however, is how much of the optional battles, Ruby and Emerald Weapon to be precise, will be feasible. Regardless, I am going to try to defeat everything there is to defeat.
