This is an interesting one. Normally, this battle is ruined by Rude's AI bug, as once he casts a spell, he cannot do anything for the rest of the battle. However, he will never use any of the spells on Tifa, so if you go in with her alone, you will get a normal battle until he uses his Cure2 counter after his HP drops below 50%. This makes it a much tougher battle than it would have been with any other character, since he hits hard and he will only hesitate to attack Tifa 1/3 of the time. Of course, I had to use her, because it would have been an absolute joke with only Reno attacking for most of the battle. This is her 5th battle, so that's one more character out of the way.
Rude's attack deals 600 damage normally, so it will oneshot Tifa. It's actually thanks to Rude himself I will be able to survive it, since I'll just equip what I stole from him in the previous battle - the Ziedrich. It's one of the best armors in the game, with 100 Defense, +20 Strength and Magic and best of all - it halves damage from all elements, including most of the hidden physical ones. With it, I can survive an attack from both Rude and Reno in the same turn as long as they don't get a critical attack. This is a poison battle, so I don't want to deal with Barrier and the lowest battle speed to make it safer. I gave Tifa Counter Attack and Added Effect=Poison to avoid having to use turns casting Bio since you need to heal most of the time. Once Rude is out of order, I tried to steal the Touph Ring from Reno, but it's pretty much hopeless at this level.

This battle is why I had to steal the Ziedrich in all three battles with Rude. You cant survive Beam Cannon without it. I tried a setup where Cloud had the Gigas Armlet and Cursed Ring for more damage, but once he got killed, the others simply couldnt finish the battle. You can easily survive his attacks and stay alive with Magic Counter=Restore, but then theres Materia Jammer. It gives you Reflect, meaning you wont be able to heal for four turns. Depending on when its used, you might not survive Beam Cannon. If Cloud gets it, you can pretty much just restart. So yeah, this was surprisingly annoying and ended up requiring more attempts than the Turks.
