Hey guys I am back at it again with a Final Fantasy VII playthrough of the newest version of SegaChief's New Threat Mod, 1.4! Being my favorite FF7 mod, I would highly recommend this to anyone.

A quick run down of what this mod brings to the table:
This mod aims for a reasonable but fast-paced level of difficulty, something that can be played seriously or for fun and which offers a lot of new content to discover. Bosses and enemies have been revised and a bunch of new ones are joining their ranks. There are also extensive flevel edits that allow for the use of different party leaders on Disc 3, an Extra Battle where the player can unlock new bosses by trading in items, additional side-quests, and a range of optional cutscene skips, additional save points & merchants, and other conveniences to ease gameplay for those feeling a bit jaded with the game.

This mod also allows for the use of Aeris past Disc 2, because why have eight when you can have nine? One of the parameters with this was to keep the 'footprint' this creates for the story to an absolute minimum. By and large, events play out in the same way; only a few lines of dialogue needed to be altered slightly to make it work.

Back to the main video
Bosses Fought: X-ATM Scorpion , Plasma Buster

X-ATM Scorpion: Bolt and limit breaks will do lots of damage against this boss. Avoid attacking the scorpion while the tail is up!
Potions are very nice in this mod as they do a lot more healing inside battles.

Plasma Buster: I think it's best to immediately wake up someone after they are sleeping otherwise he'll be knocking people left and right. Do not use cure otherwise it will reflect toward the boss.

I will be doing the playthrough live on twitch.tv/CreativeEly and in addition, between each of the youtube episodes, I will upload a full episode that will show the entire stream (non condensed).

As always thanks for watching! Feel free to leave questions, comments, feedback, they are always appreciated ^^
