I wanted to finish the challenge under level 50, so I had to wait for her to blow through most of her MP to avoid Ultima. The countdown starts when you've dealt more than 45000 damage to her, so make sure you get close to that and then wait for her to use Stop 14 times. For this strategy to work, you must take out the right arm and keep the left arm alive. It even inflicts Fury, which will be very handy in these final battles. Not a difficult battle, but a long and boring one.

I can finally heal! Does that make things easier? Well, I wont be able to heal again until the elevator. As for this battle, its not much of a problem. Its one of the easiest in the whole challenge. Just make sure not to put Aerith in the middle, as then shell get licked and lose Fury.
Btw, it should be mentioned that up to and including this battle, the challenge was gonna be always hold the action button, but I changed my mind because not only do it cause problems for Reno, but it would make things much more luck reliant in general.
