Rules of the challenge (beginning once you reach the world map):
No materia except Enemy Skill
No attacks/limits
No items
No non-mandatory inns
Initial Armor
Start the challenge at level 15
You can't use ???? in random encounters
This took far too many tries. In fact, it probably took more tries than Demon's Gate and Schizo combined. To preserve my sanity, I use a Save Crystal on the right path (which if I'm not mistaken is legal for most No Item challenges).
Dragon Zombie can be really stingy with Shadow Flare, and will often not use it at all, even at low health (putting him at low health makes him more likely to use it). Both Shadow Flare and Pandora's Box are reflectable, and you can learn E.Skills that have been reflected. His Poison Fang attack will always miss someone with poison protection, so I put a Star Pendant on Cloud and hope he doesn't use it on Cid. You can tell that I'm stunned by the fact that he used Shadow Flare on Cid on the second turn. I make a small mistake by not using Frog Song on him (he's vulnerable to sleep), and then Goblin-Punching him on the final blow.
After this battle I will heal up Cloud with Aqualung and go on to face Jenova Synthesis.

Cid: Venus Gospel, Gold Armlet, Reflect Ring
