Steven Tupu, director of terrain-nyc, and four members of the firm’s team: Cody Erhart, Brian Green, Anita Nai-Tzu Cheng, and Eduardo Santamaria, discussed 10 of terrain’s completed and ongoing works. Sharing projects ranging from waterfront regeneration, to affordable housing campuses, and park master plans, the firm showed how it transforms spaces through landscape architecture.
The presentation was followed by a conversation with Fernando Villa, FAIA, which dove into questions of landscape maintenance, long term sustainability, and how Covid-19 has reframed the urban population’s relationship to landscape projects. Villa is a principal of Magnusson Architecture and Planning.
