One of Pennsylvania's most peskiest critters may be on high alert soon as senators John Fetterman and Dave McCormick introduce legislation that looks to stop their spread.

The bill, dubbed the Spotted Lanternfly Research and Development Act, would put investments into research aimed at combatting the invasive species.
