I needed a woodworking bench for my guitar making and rather than take up valuable workspace with a dedicated bench, I decided to build a movable clamping board inspired by Festool's Multifunction Table. I also built clamps that are a twist on the old style luthier's cam clamps. The entire project cost me around $50, compared to about $700 for the Festool MFT and clamps.
