Held in partnership with Chicago Public Schools, the Festival of Hope Chicago event featured inspirational young speakers, including Diana Chao (mental health), Ziad Ahmed (youth empowerment), Leah Judson (Creativity, filmmaking); Watson Whitfield (indigenous perspectives); and Sara Mora (activism). They were joined by DJ Cashera, Pedro Martinez, CEO of Chicago Public Schools, and Olli-Pekka Heinonen, the Director General of the IB.

IB Diploma Program (DP) students from four Chicago Public High Schools and Portage Northern High School in Michigan joined in for the event and workshops.
