I haven't really done many videos on Ferox so I will begin doing some now. It is a visualisation app intended for use in nightclubs/bars, you can control it yourself at live shows. I have a few videos on my channel of it in action. I will start documenting it a bit more in the future.
Ferox started life as "Ferox Neutrino" in around 2006 when I had a conversation with my mate Stu Axon how it would be great to make a new killer visualisation. I always enjoyerd the Amiga demo scene and thought it would be good to do something similar, I had tried on Amiga but the results were not exactly great, time to really nail it! I wrote it in "processing" and used it for probably a decade around the city. Then one day I decided to make a sequel to test HDRP in Unity, see how good it can look. So yeah 2 years later I have a pretty damn cool v2 of ferox, much easier to use and much nicer looking.
I intend on getting it to pc/ps5 and loupedeck hardware. Expect better quality vids in the future lol.
Also how do I call this for ps5? something like "personal light show" but better is what im after for the tagline lol. I do have a tagline already when it boots in clubs but it says "software video synthesizer", im not sure if that will work with the ps crowd. Thanks for watching.
