Short video on HM65R Super Raptor.
Sorry the quality is not good.
I just want to show the two leds in action.
The video starts with the led Flood (XP-G3 with TIR lens) at the power of 400 lumens (Flood = 8 - 130 - 400 lumens)
Then I use both leds (XP-G3 + XM-L2)
Then only the led spot (led spot: XM-L2) power levels = 30 - 130 - 400 - 600 - 1000 lumens.
The Super Raptor version is only for sale in Finland.
It has both led of the same color (white light 5000 K) a Spot_High 2 level of 600 lumens (absent on the HM65R standard version)
The most important change is that it does not progressively decrease in brightness like the standard HM65R version but maintains constant brightness.
If you can't get the Super Raptor and you want constant brightness you might want to look at the recent model HM65R-T (you recognize it from the red band) it doesn't have a totally constant adjustment like Super Raptor but it has a much better adjustment than the previous model HM65R .
Furthermore HM65R-T has a different led (SST40 instead of XM-L2) which is more powerful (1300 lumens instead of 1000)
The HM65R Super Raptor version in the video is sold out (but maybe you could still find some in some Finnish online store)
The new Super Raptor (Super Raptor 2) which is based on the HM65R-T is currently on sale in Finland
There are special versions on the market that have a red LED instead of the spot light.
This red light version is called Shadow Master (for sale in the UK) or Fenix HM65R Särmä (for sale in Finland)
I hope I have given some useful information.
