Dr Michelle Hone is a female health and fertility nutritionist and founder of The Fit Clinic. Dr Sarah Kelly has a PhD in clinical exercise physiology and is a former lecturer at DCU. Together they co-founded Herology.

Why do so many women accept painful periods, exhaustion and mood crashes as just part of their cycle? Some symptoms are a normal part of a healthy cycle, but being in bits every month isn't. So what does normal actually look like, and why does so little of this get said out loud?

Learn why "your bloods are fine" doesn't mean you feel fine, why a symptom-free cycle isn't the goal either, why so many girls grow up thinking periods are shameful, what dads and partners get wrong, why some athletes treat losing their period as a win, how women were left out of research, what "pixie dusting" is and what to check on a supplement label, why lifestyle comes before any supplement, and much more.
