Forest tractors with carts, harvesters, people with chainsaws... The fences in the old enclosures have been demolished and from dawn until late afternoon it's all hands on deck in the cordoned-off area of the park.
The weather is perfect for felling the spruce trees that stand close to the walkways and is a bit tricky to fell. The stems are debarked and dried and will be used when we start building again.
As long as we’re working in the area, parts of the park are cordoned off. It is a exciting project we have taken on and it will be fantastic when it is completed in the summer of 2024.
