Gull feeding frenzies are happening regularly on Lake Ontario. Small fish prey must be close to the surface for the gulls to grab without diving like loons, mergansers and cormorants. Many times the feeding frenzies are far out on the lake. However, today they were close to shore. Rotary Park in Ajax on 11 October 2020.
