This siren is located at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah. McCracken county sirens tests first Saturday at 1PM CT.
This one is a doozy. So alittle while after 1PM and we heard tones drop a few mins after 1PM, we found out the whole system failed to activate. We stuck around for alittle while longer to see if something would happen. We called the EMA to see what was happening and they said "were in the process of trying to activate them.". So we waited 20 minutes or so and by that point, we thought they had given up. A couple mins after some had started packing up, we heard tones drop and the siren fired up! You will notice, the normal testing sequence is shorter, one minute alert and attack. McCracken county has been upgrading their radio system for the sirens. McCracken county no longer does full attack unfortunately. @madisoncountysirens4295 @NepsterWX @CentralALSirens were present at this test.
