After the typical first Tuesday shenanigans, me, Holly, and Dominic all ventrured over to Drews house to hear my Model 2s first run on proper 220V and with its original housing since being in my private possession. For being around a centry old, I am blown away by how healthy it is! I was scared at first that it was getting more volts or amps than it needed, but it wasn’t, it just peaks at a higher pitch than most other Model 2s out there.
Originally I obtained this Model 2 without the housing as I assumed it was lost to scrap as it had been blown off in a storm years ago, but fate had different plans and a very kind lady from the village reached out to me a month after I obtaining it and gave me the original housing. I do plan on restoring the housing either to a white or yellow color, hopefully before next years sirencon. Thanks for watching and I hope you guys enjoy the video!
