Today's video is an announcement for #FebRegency 2023!

FebRegency celebrates the Regency period in England (the period when Jane Austen lived and was writing). It will last from February 1st-February 28th 2023. Our group read is Evelina by Frances Burney. We will hold a zoom or google meet discussion on February 25th at 10am PT / 1pm ET. (Email Emma at emma@bookishprincess.com for a link to the discussion!)
The general prompt is to read a work that was popular during or written by an author who lived during Englandβs Regency period, from 1795 to 1837. But we have a few extra challenges:

Read a Regency era poem.
Read a Regency era play.
Read a work of nonfiction either about the Regency era or written during the Regency era.
Read a Regency era work or author referenced by Jane Austen or who influenced Jane Austen.
Bonus challenge: Send a Regency-style, chatty, hand-written letter to a friend.
