$Connect to External Data in Autograph Connect to External Data in Autograph Connecting a project to external data, especially for TV, is super important when creating a graphics project. Whether it be a title panel, lower third, or summary table with sports statistics, every pictogram and text field must be able to be connected to an external database. Autograph makes this possible without having to use any programming or scripting language. Simply import a CSV file into your project and connect the table to a parameter, defining the column and cell you want to connect to it. Once you’ve connected the data, any modifications made in the database will automatically update the entire project in a fraction of a second. This is ideal for TV channels, allowing them to set up an automation system to fully automate the production of weather reports, sports statistics, or any other project that requires constant updating. You can also convert an Autograph project into a reusable template by adding control panels to compositions that can be connected to any parameter in the project.
