Case Type: Environmental: Sugar Creek v. Amoco
Description: Residents living near the Amoco Oil Refinery in Sugar Creek, MO appear to have an increased risk of cancer as a result of prolonged Benzene exposure.
Visualizations Produced: Fearless Eye produced accurate detailed maps of the area that included residents locations, the Missouri River, Sugar Creek, the Amoco Oil Refinery and Benzene concentrations on both aerial photos and street maps. These illustrations were used to depict resident proximity to concentrations of cancer causing Benzene.
