Case Type: Trucking: Strickler
Description: A driver traveling on a two-lane highway at night, fails to see and react to tractor trailer obstructing the roadway and runs into the side of the trailer.
Visualizations Produced:
Using photographs and CADD data from the expert, Fearless Eye modeled the site, truck and tractor trailer in 3D. Using expert calculations and witness testimony, we were able to determine the speeds of both vehicles and the timing of the accident. Once the accident was animated we then created avoidance scenarios, illustrating how the accident could have been avoided
