Miller et al v. Premium Standard Farms
Case Type: Environmental - Hog Farm

Description: Plaintiffs claimed that the odor from a local hog farm drifted nearly two miles to their respective homes disrupted and lowered their quality of life.

Visualizations Produced: An aerial photo of the general area, as well as, photos of Plaintiff and Defense properties were obtained and used to accurately model all properties in 3D. Fearless Eye then modeled and placed football fields between the properties to illustrate the distance in feet that separated the properties. Showing enough distance exists between the properties for the odor to disperse. Odor readings were also taken for nearly a year and depicted in calendars showing the rarity of strong hog odors.
