Case Type: Truck Rear Ends Vehicle:
Description: A man traveling a highway at night in the right lane was rear ended by a FedEx truck traveling in excess of the speed limit. According to witness account, the truck had been swerving and the driver was believed to be asleep at the wheel. The impact caused the car to lurch forward and land in a ditch. Although the plaintiff was wearing his seat belt, he sustained severe injuries from the accident.
Visualizations Produced:
Fearless Eye reconstructed the highway and modeled both accident vehicles and the witness vehicle in 3D. Then, using calculated speeds for each vehicle, produced a visualization of the FedEx truck traveling down the highway and ultimately impacting the vehicle in front of him.
