@fearfactorymusic were instrumental in influence Nu-Metal. They had an industrial element that moved into other Nu-Metal bands, Plus they had a sense of groove that was also passed over. And in a way they were an influencer of the style, but at the the same time an artist of the stuff. They also got influenced by bands that they influenced. And Edgecrusher is a great example of this. And also the album its from, Obsolute is a top-tier concept album. SO if you haven't checked it out, then do yourself a favour and give it a full listen and listen to the lyrics.
