Perhaps you still remember Halo? The 57.45m / 188’6” yacht which was launched at de Kaag at the time the last Sail Amsterdam took place in 2015? With the Oude Rijn being blocked after the crane accident in Alphen aan den Rijn Halo eventually left De Kaag for Amsterdam via Aalsmeer and the Nieuwe Meer locks, a transport which was repeated by the 49.65m/ 162’1” Totally Nuts 5 years later. Anyway, Halo returned to Holland to join Sherpa, Sea Huntress and Arrow in Amsterdam yesterday morning. Footage by The Nautical Lady & Dutch Yachting.
