Released exclusively on the Famicom Disk System in Japan. Developed and published by Nintendo in 1987.

This game is developed around the concept of a Leader board challenge where players can submit there best scores within each of the four levels. The top 100 players in each level would then receive a prize. The game does not seem to have an ending.

The Longplay could have been a little shorter but I race Level 4 twice as I couldn't get 1st place on the first track without upgrading the car. I have recorded more making sure to actually save times on each level and gain a little more money but it doesn't add anything for the longplay so i cut it. I may continue on to see if buying the final car unlocks an ending, but I doubt it. I use an English translation patch to make the video more accessible as well as making the game easier to navigate for me.

The game is a top down racer. There are four levels to play through each with four tracks. Winning them earns money which can be spent on better performing cars. The controls are a little weird with A being low gear and B being high gear and both together is brake. If the car has a turbo, Up is used for extra speed at the expense of faster fuel consumption. The main challenge that is out to get you is Tire ware. Precise control of the car is required by tapping the left / right controls. To heavy handed and the car slides around eroding the tires and making the car hard to control.

At the end of each lap, a Pit Stop is available which will refuel and repair car damage as well as applying new tires. This costs some time and the opponent racers will take advantage of it so it is best to only pit at the end of lap two giving a chance to catch up and reclaim your place. It is possible to win each track without going to pits but you need to pretty much ensure perfect car control to avoid sliding and crashing.

Overall not the greatest game. The opponent cars have an uncanny ability to just belt off leaving you no chance of winning. And with no ending to aim for, it feels less rewarding although as mentioned the real aim of the game is to submit those scores.
