Just done this quick video both to assist Phade in improving their map and see how it plays int he hands of others; and also as a microphone / stream setup test - new things are happening!
Sadly this recording shows a couple of issues - I need to work on the gain levels for the mic vs game sounds, and for some reaosn OBS is recording my footage really poorly. I'll investigate that and more at some point. :P

Todays stream is focused on the Abyssal Speedmapping Session. In this instance, the 39th session! The theme for this was Stark Lighting: All lighting changes in the map must be of 64 light unit difference or higher. I started off with a relatively normal style map but quickly changed it to a monochrome map.

Well here was a soul crushing moment. New year, new microphone, new stream setup, and a new ironman league. And bam; dead in map01 in some shitty cramped myhouse.wad. Shoutouts to the shotgunner who gave absolutely no fucks to the fact Im literally sawing through his torso and still killed me.
Heres hoping I suck less in future ironman runs. To make up the time I suddenly had spare on-stream, I resumed my usual state of testing Eviternity maps, this time the behemoth MAP19. Its finally 100% completable!
