EDIT: I forgot to specify, this tutorial is about how to make flashes to hit beats in videos. This is not on how to make flash transitions, although it is possible to do so from this method as well~

This is my first tutorial here so hopefully I did alright haha. Sorry I stumbled over some words~
This video is just about how to make flashes yourself in FCPX (since the built in one can be pretty crappy in my opinion). Making flashes really isn't that difficult at all so once you know how you'll be good to go! :D

0:36-1:09 - The obvious first step of choosing clips and starting a project
1:09-1:49 - Selecting a generator to use as a flash and placing it into the timeline
1:49-1:58 - Changing the blend mode of the generator to 'screen'
