This was going to be a busy week before Ron Blum finished the FCF FRR early for the M10 and we had to add that flight to the schedule, so cool. This was the functional check flight after the 100 hour inspection on the M10 prototype. We took the airplane out to the corners in the glide-cone over Chino Airport. SoCal Approach was helpful letting us thread our dive test in between all the traffic going into LAX and departing out of ONT.
Brian Reel flew safety chase in the 5g Aviation Decathlon. Daniel Tou rode duff in the Decathlon, acting as FTE and running the cameras.
Hats off to the Chino operations team led by Daniel Tou and Bill Colvin. A lot of work went in to preparing for this flight and to land without a single squawk is something of note. Go team!
Then it was a quick Uber to the Ontario Intl Airport for a flight to Texas to move the Ultra for the AOPA: your freedom to fly show in Camarillo.
They say any day you get to fly is a good day...these are very good days.
