The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has failed to update U.S. wireless radiation exposure guidelines in over 26 years.
Notably, in August of 2021, the FCC lost a major federal court battle in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in which the court ruled that the FCC's 2019 decision to retain its 1996 safety limits regarding human exposure to wireless radiation were "arbitrary and capricious."
