The starting point is the Turkish town of Balikesir, from where it travels through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania to its final destination in Jelgava, Latvia. Thanks to the hydraulic widening, the vessel bridge provides maximum flexibility, as is already the case on this project.
