This project has been in the works for a long time. When it comes to layouts, I tend to be really thoughtful with the placement of everything and how everything flows with the music. This is why most of my projects get put on hold and never see the light of day. But with this one I had a different experience. I really liked the intensity of the latter half of the song Purgatori by Koraii, so I started this project sometime in late spring with the hopes of someday completing it. But as is the case with most of my projects, I completed about five seconds of gameplay and put it to the side to work on other things. However I always had this layout in the back of my head while creating; occasionally going back to it just to play the first five seconds with nothing coming to mind on what to add next. Fast forward to around two months ago, when I finally regained motivation and ideas for this layout. Several weeks of building and a few effects added in and the layout and the level was done. In the end I feel I fulfilled the ideas and goal of this layout, keeping the songs intensity whilst having unique gameplay and structuring all the way through. So I hope you guys enjoy it as well, let me know what you think!

This part was particularly fun to make because of the song. Im not very used to using rock or metal songs for gameplay, but being able to capture the intensity of this song with pulses and shakes was especially fun to pull off in this gameplay part. This is my favorite gameplay part to date because of that, although I will most definitely make something better soon rehehehe
