I modeled this after a military style footlocker, with the intention of a Father's Day gift box. But, trying to make all of my projects versatile, it could also be used for a military celebration, Veteran's Day gift, graduation from Military school or Academy, but that's not all!
If you embellish it differently, and use colors that match, I can envision it being a picnic cooler, a jewelry box, a steamer trunk, or a hunter's ammo box, it's all in the details!
