And unfortunately we didn't make it that far. The kid was just a great, everybody in his community loved him. Everybody in his community is broken up because he can't believe this happened to him.”

“This is a tragedy to me that a kid who had never been in trouble with the law has never had an encounter other than a speeding ticket at 16 years old, that this would happen to him. Like I said, the kid was unarmed. He had nothing on him but a cell phone and a backpack with some overnight clothes. And from what I understand, a couple of warm cans of beer in his bag. That's all he had on this kid. How do we go.. first of all, from the little bit I know, the kid was unarmed. He was not trying to break in nobody's home. He was literally walking from one friend's to another and ended up at the wrong home is what happened here.”

“We do know factual that at 12:32 a.m. My son was on a FaceTime call with his friends that were coming to get him. And I'm going to say that went to probably at least 12:33. And we were told that my son was shot at 12:35. So what kind of encounter could have ensued? What kind of communication could that officer have given him? Like, it couldn't have happened in two minutes, you know? And my son is no longer with us. And we lost a great young man."

STORYLINE:
A 22-year-old college student killed by Pennsylvania police responding to a possible burglary had just realized he was at the wrong home and was waiting for friends to come get him when he was shot, his father said Wednesday.
Police in Upper Pottsgrove Township, northwest of Philadelphia, responded around 12:30 a.m. Sunday to a 911 call about a possible break-in attempt, according to the Montgomery County district attorney's office.
The office said in a statement that police found Glenwood Pysher IV at the rear of the home and ultimately shot and killed him.
