Currently EMIYA, when at over 20% Health, can use 75% mana to conjure Rho Aias: The Seven Rings that Cover the Burning Heavens. This will throw out a blossom in front of him that will act as a barrier for all incoming ranged attacks, and well as physically block enemies from advancing.
Right now the bloom is vertex animated to open, but I think I will have the prop track EMIYA's position and allow him to cast it a second time to put it away. Costing a (comparatively) small amount of mana to start up and then further mana per hit until breaking.
Obviously there will be a lot more polish such as a particle burst as it opens and other things, but as is, I'm pretty happy!
Shirou (HF) can also cast a weaker version with 4 petals, and when EMIYA is below 20% health, This spell slot goes to summoning Caliburn which will cost his life to use, but allow for a massive final attack.
